33+ years ago, my wife, Laurie, and I moved from a healthy church in Indianapolis to Overland Park to launch and pastor a new church called SouthWoods Christian Church. Since then, our spiritual family and personal family have both grown significantly! We have two grown sons, Joseph (married to Anna) and Joshua, along with LOTS of spiritual sons, daughters and siblings. It’s been a joy and privilege to introduce people here to Jesus, and help them grow more fully into His image and purpose for their lives.
Besides Pastoring SouthWoods’ Christian Church, I’m the past President of the Christian Evangelizing Association of Kansas, and a member of a couple of other national and international ministry/missions boards. I’m a graduate of Cincinnati Bible College & Seminary. Beyond that, I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, traveling, and pretty much all things outdoors! I’m grateful for Jesus, family, lots of friends, SouthWoods, and our beloved golden lab, Gabe. God has blessed me richly!
