As humans, our natural desire is to "build for ourselves" and make our own names famous. This tower we build is a tower of rebellion. But a tower could never get us to heaven, so instead heaven came down to us. Through Jesus's sacrifice and the gift of the Holy Spirit, God chooses to reverse Babel and restore us to Him.
